Busking Complications

I love Perugia, the city is gorgeous and the audience is attentive. This is my fourth or fifth time here, and I'm always happy to come back.
It's a bit tricky to busk, however. The laws are tolerant, but there are only a few good places to play and they're all on the same street. So, for example, an inconsiderately loud electric guitarist can be a pretty severe inconvenience. The guys playing drum and guitar are louder than I am, as is the local accordionist. Then there's an acoustic singer and another who plays amplified, but courteously. I also saw a Hungarian dulcimer player my first day, but not again since.
Thankfully we haven't all wanted to play at the same time and so far we've managed to space things out to make it all work. And this afternoon the drum guys were really nice as they walked by, and as I was packing up the accordionist asked if I was finished before setting up across the street.
It's been a little stressful, but nothing I haven't been able to work around. I enjoy this city, its maze of medieval lanes and ancient landmarks, and I'm already looking forward to returning once again. I've got one more set to play tonight before heading out in the morning, and I remain hopeful!
