Incidental Knowlege

Truly has mentioned that my incidental knowledge is unique and, as I'm packing, I see her point.
Dental floss and disposable razors are expensive in Europe so pack plenty. Non-drowsy cold medicine is often by prescription only, so bring DayQuil. And I'm suffering mild panic attacks because that's what I do in the 24 hours prior to boarding; as soon as I'm seated for the trans-Atlantic leg I'll be fine.
That bit, in particular, was hard-earned, along with knowing that on day 14 I'll be hit by a wave of despair that will be horrific and yet over within a few hours. The first few times were an unpleasant surprise, but now I can at least recognize situational quirks rather than succumb. Still, I'm practically twitching with contingency planning even as my excitement starts to rev.
