The weekend

It has been a fantastic weekend!  The highlight, of course, was my performance on Friday night.  I played at Café Luna on Vashon Island, which is a really interesting area that I’m looking forward to exploring further next year.  The show went really well, and the audience was very engaged with the music.  I felt very unpolished, in some ways, because I’m not very used to being the foreground in such a way and my stories about the music I’ve written seemed a bit more stutteringly improvisational than I would have preferred.  Still, I had a great time with a wonderful audience and I hope to play there again!

Tomorrow night I fly back to Cleveland for a few days, and I'm sad to be going.  I am, however, looking forward to some of the adventures to come!
