Jan. 19th, 2007 01:36 pmIf you ever get a chance to flip through a Spanish/Italian dictionary I
highly recommend it. I might even buy one for the novelty factor. An
exchange I overheard today between a monolingual Bolivian and a bilingual
Spaniard went like this:
"Como se dice 'casa'"?
"Casa"
"Oh"
I also discovered the secret to getting rid of annoying flower vendors who
harrass you when walking with a friend of the opposite sex. "Non bisogno
aiuto". "I don't need help". Worked like a charm.
I hope you're all doing well!
